Emma O’Connell presented research on groundwater modeling using remotely sensed data at NC State’s Undergraduate Research Symposium on August 1. She compared optimization algorithms for calibrating a model using observed precipitation data. Emma is an undergraduate student, and PhD student Liz Ramsey mentored her in her research.
